The 40% Rule

“So this is Stratosphere, this whole time period that we’re in. Let me remind you that no matter how hard, or how awful, or how terrible things get, and no matter how much you want to quit and give up, I don’t think that you know your baseline. I think that when you want to give up and quit, you’re only at 40% capacity.

I need you to find out what your baseline is. When you hit your wall you’re at 40%, but your brain is telling you you’re at 110% and you have no more to give. It starts to shut you down.

It does that to keep you alive. It does that to preserve you. But think about people who run marathons; about 99% of people who run marathons finish them. And all of those people, especially in their trainings, feel that they’ve hit capacity. Yet 99% of them cross the finish line. I’m asking you to cross the finish line in 2023.

We can’t give up, we can’t give in, and we can’t get out. We need to go through and Rise Up.

We planted the seeds and now we have to take care of the ground. Only you can take care of the seeds that you’ve planted, and only you can tend to your garden. That’s why you need to be here. You have got to be here, fully, completely and totally. Remember that 40% as we go through this process.”
