Spiritual Emotion
“Spiritual Emotion is the Awareness of the existence of God or the Teaching Principle of God. The Teaching Principle of God is also known as Guru, or Datta. When you are aware of this, especially of one incarnate, you have Spiritual Emotion.
Having Spiritual Emotion means your subconscious mind merges with God, causing the Intellect to take a back seat so that there’s no interference with this connection. If you experience Spiritual Emotion continuously, you are on the Path of Devotion.
Spiritual Emotion manifests in many different ways, including: becoming motionless or still; sweating; experiencing tremors in the body, goosebumps or fainting; and uncontrollable sobbing without shaking, with cool tears flowing effortlessly and spontaneously from the eyes, leaving you both more stable afterwards and with an expanded awareness. Crying hot tears is evidence of worldly emotion.
Emotions are feelings associated with your worldly life, such as happiness and unhappiness, that entrench us in the material world. Spiritual Emotion is a state of communion with God that, once awakened, transcends our communication with the outer world. Spiritual Emotion gives you an attitude adjustment in your behavior with others, and allows you to see the God Principle in them. If you can experience God’s Love for yourself and others, this is best; you receive much when you feel that God loves someone else.
Highly emotional people mistake themselves for being Spiritually Emotional. Learn to know the difference and how Spiritual Emotion affects your life.”
