Thanks to The Life
A tribal chant of long ago…….may it stir your waiting Echo’s
which lie asleep, deep……
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
It gave me two luceros, when I open them, Perfect…
I distinguish the black of the target
And in the high sky its starred bottom
And in the multitudes the man who I love.
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
It has given Oba and Oshun to and that in all its wide one
It records night and day, crickets and canaries,
Hammers, turbines, barks, showers,
And so the tender voice of my loved one is good.
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
It has given to the sound and the alphabet which is me;
With all the words that I think and I declare:
Mother, friend, brother, and light illuminating
The route of the Soul of which I am loving.
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
It has given march to my tired feet;
With them I walked cities and pools,
Level beaches and deserts, montanas and
that house yours, your street and your patio.
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
It gave corazon in me that shakes its frame
When I watch the fruit of the human brain,
When I watch… so…. at the good one far from the bad one,
When I watch the bottom of your clear eyes.
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
It has given the laughter back me and it has given the weeping of me.
As I distinguish the breaking of happiness,
Both material that forms my song,
And the song of you that is my same song,
And the song of all which it is my own song.
Thanks to the life that has given so much to me.
