Jozef’s Hot Springs Soaking Protocol

Jozef recommends soaking as often as you feel called to during the Gnosis Silent
Retreat.

A map to all Hot Springs in Truth or Consequences can be found in your packet. Each
location has its own guidelines for soaking, facility use, etc. Check at the front desk of
each establishment upon arrival for your soak.

To optimize your results wherever you soak, Jozef has the following suggestions:

  •  Bring a natural bristle body brush for dry brushing your body before you soak.
  • Soak alone – one person to each soaking tub.
  •  For best results, soaking for a minimum of 20 mins (up to 1 hour) is
    recommended.
  • When entering and exiting the tub, run hot spring water and douse your body
    from head to toe 3 times.
  • Add cold water to your soaking tub as needed.
  • Cover your head with a light covered towel, scarf, etc. after soaking.
  • Keep hydrated before, during and after soaking. To optimize hydration and
    replenish electrolytes, the following supplements are suggested:
    oOrganic Coconut water and/or
    o Ultima Replenisher
    o BLK Mineral Water
  •  Rest after your soak for twice as long as you soaked, e.g. if you soak for 20
    minutes, rest for 40 minutes.

 

Please Note: Due to high temperatures, full body hot spring soaking is not recommended
for those who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, diabetes, etc..  Alternative: Soak
your feet in the hot spring mineral waters for 20-25 minutes.
